Central Oregon

Central Oregon is not Western or Eastern Oregon. It’s east of the Cascade Range and a gateway between Western and Eastern Oregon. The counties are Hood River, Wasco, Sherman, Gilliam, Jefferson, Wheeler, Deschutes, Crook, Klamath, and Lake. Those counties make up Central Oregon from north to south. The north counties are the Columbia River Gorge, the middle counties revolve around Bend and its nearby cities, and the two south counties include lots of lakes including Crater Lake.
Central Oregon is so diverse. There are lots of lakes, rivers, and mountains there. It’s a natural paradise. I prefer the Columbia River Gorge and Bend over Klamath Falls and Lakeview.
