Bougie Call

Similar to a booty call, but with the exception of being wine-and-dined as well. Not to be confused with a "date", whereas you go out with someone and will *potentially* have sex; a Bougie Call infers that you are calling (or getting called) specifically for sex, but will also typically share a fancy meal beforehand and/or afterwards.

May also be referred to/spelled as "boojie call".
Jane had to clarify to her friends that John wasn't her boyfriend, he was just her occasional Bougie Call.

Boogie Call

1: To call someone for a hot night of no strings attached dancing.
2: Inviting friends out to dance, usually via call or text.

Word-play originating from "Booty Call" but for dancing instead of sex.

Phrase was coined by a professional dancer in Chicago while out social West Coast Swing dancing.
"I want to go out dancing with some friends tonight. Time to make some boogie calls!"

"I'm going to boogie call Christopher, it's been a while since his last one."

"There's no one here to dance with. I'm going to make some boogie calls!" "What's that?" "It's like a booty call, but for dancing."

Bogie Call

The person you call on your cigarette break for no other reason than you are smoking a bogie.
John calls Jane

Jane: Hey
John: Hey
Jane: What's up?
John: On a cigarette break
Jane: So I'm just your bogie call?

You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
