Black Hoodie Boy

A boy who tends to wear a black hoodie all the time. They're usually pretty quiet, sitting in the back of the class. They have some friends, but not in their classes. Everyone knows who they are, but never knows too much about their character. They seem emo, maybe depressed. They're a genius. No one talks to them until they need answers. They're usually ambiverted, and rarely talk outside of their circle. They're the ones single handedly holding up the class average. People think they'll shoot up the school, and thus seem afraid of him. The black hoodie boy does everything in a group project, finishes in 1min, then immediately after he turns it in his perfectionism kicks in and he's terrified he let his group down. He's usually so desperate for love or any human interaction at all he'll give anyone the answers to work because then someone talks to them. They're very lonely, and constantly can't sleep at night. They wish for nothing but love, although never get any. No girls love him, and 1/5 of people think he's gay. He's the most loyal, caring, and wise people you'll meet, if you talk to him. He's also the most sweet, polite, romantic, and thoughtful partners you could date. He's not cynical, he's just so lonely he doesn't know how conversation works. He's often left out of most social situations, even in his own friend group. Everyone knows him and has talked to him before, but next to no one knows him well, even if he plays sports or something very popular.
Classmate 1 - "Yo what's the answer to answer 6?"
Classmate 2 - "I dunno let me ask black hoodie boy's name"
Classmate 2 - "Hey what's the answer to question 6?"
Black Hoodie Boy - "..."
Black Hoodie Boy - "24.7"
Classmate 2 - "Thanks Bro"

Black Hoodie Boy - "Hey I kind of like you a lot, could we maybe go out sometime?"
Crush - "Ew, no."

Friend 1 - "Tacos are so good though"
Friend 2 - "Nah Burgers are better, on god"
Black Hoodie Boy - "Actually I think-"
Friends 1 & 2 - *both cut him off and refuse to listen to him*

Please talk to the Black Hoodie Boy.

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
In use:
Shackteâu - We thought it was an abandoned shed until the realtor called it a rare alpine Shackteâu with unobstructed views and listed it for $2 million.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
