Normally when talking to a friend and bitching about how bad of a day you've had or how broke you are and your friend quickly over-bitches you by explaining how his day was worse.

I was telling my friend Andy about how I spilled coffee on my shirt, then my car broke down and on top of that my girl called and broke up with me. But as usual I quickly got over-bitched by how bad his day was.

But instead of taking credit for it good or bad they drive a proverbial bus over you, then they look in the rear view mirror, and see that you are not totally down so they put it in reverse hit you again, and then for good measure they drive back over you just to make sure you are down!
