Biden-to-Trump Diversion

The act of bringing up Donald Trump completely out of the blue whenever the conversation is purely about Joe Biden and his flaws.

People guilty of BTD can not, for some odd reason, fathom others speaking negatively about Biden, and so whenever he is negatively mentioned, they will find some way to make the conversation about Trump when Trump was never mentioned previously.

These people seemingly believe that anyone who has ever said anything bad about Biden ever must be in full support of Trump, so they take it upon themselves to hurl insults at the latter and defend the former even if no comparison was made between the two.

NOTE: No matter what, as long as Biden is mentioned negatively, there will ALWAYS be one person committing Biden-to-Trump Diversion on the internet, regardless of the setting.
In a YouTube comment section under a video clip portraying Biden having memory/speaking issues:

Comment: "It's scary to think that this is one of the most influential people in the world. This man is clearly not cognitively fit for office, and I hope they stop using him for their agenda..."

Reply to comment: "He's 10 times more fit for office than Trump, and is far more cognitively capable than him. Trump was the worst president this country has ever had, period."

Everybody reading the exchange: "Why is that guy mentioning Trump when the video and comment aren't even about him? Seems a Biden-to-Trump Diversion to me."
