Bewusstseinslage

A very obscure word used only within a very small group of German psychologists.

A state of consciousness where one may feel deprived of all sensory components.

(Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

Only a select few Lexicographers would even consider this a word, let alone use it.
"Mommy! I learnt to say Bewusstseinslage!"

"That's great son, but maybe spend your time studding something actually worthwhile? Your grades are slipping and this sort of thing is only going to worsen them."

He was sad. His mother had made him feel a deep sense of Bewusstseinslage. But in a similar fashion, he wanted to prove her wrong by using it in a casual conversation.
