Words you can keep

Before Times

The time preceding a major shitty phase in ones life. You don’t think much of it in the moment, but once you’re past it and you’ve entered the bad phase of life, the before times come back to haunt you, angry that you weren’t grateful for them. You get this intense feeling of despair, you’d do ANYTHING to go back to the before times. But that’s the thing, once they’re gone, you can only move forward.
The whole world in 2020 now remembers 2019 as the Before Times.

before times

before the dark times

Before the dark times is a quote said by Obi wan Kenobi in "A New Hope" which is used to say that times where good for the jedi before the empire, this heavy implies that at the moment, Obi wan is having flashbacks to the clone wars and his former Padawan, Anakin Skywalker. It is also used as an expression of when someone changed for the worse
Obi Wan Kenobi: Before the Dark times.... Before the Empire

The Before Time

"The Before Time" is a reference to the 1966 Star Trek episode "Miri" in which the Enterprise encounters a planet inhabited only by children, due to a pandemic infecting and eventually killing all the adults. The children refer to "the before time" as the time when adults were present.

This episode was parodied in the South Park Episode "Wacky Molestation Adventure" in which the children claim to be molested and are subsequently removed from their adult guardians.

In 2020, the phrase has come to mean the time before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, when people could freely associate and go to bars and parties.
"In "The Before Time" we had a buffet lunch every day. Now we just stare at each other over zoom.

Land Before Time

To refer to a movie better than Jurassic Park

The most badass epic motherfucking dinosaur movie ever created. This movie follows the story of a tough ass brontosaurus named littlefoot and his crew of little shithead friends. These little pussyshit dinosaurs defeated a BIGASS T-Rex at the end of the movie and found heaven itself.
Oh shit that movie totally Land before Timed that piece of shit.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
