Ballybofey

Town in the middle of County Donegal, Ireland. It and its neighbouring town, Stranorlar, are pretty much the one town (hence the name Twin Towns). Ballybofey has the 4 banks, the Garda Station, Mc Elhinneys, Mac Cumhaill Park (homeground of Seán Mac Cumhaills GAA club and the Donegal county team), Finn Park (the home ground of Finn Harps), and some other stuff. Stranorlar has the doctors, the fire station, the Golf Club, the Finn Valley Athletic Club, both the secondary schools, the Catholic primary school and the Protestant primary school. It also has the Catholic Chapel, a Presbyterian Church and a Church of Ireland Church.

Ballybofey is one of the very few towns in Ireland with no schoolc or churches (there is a church and 2 schools outside the town boundaries). It is wet, dull and cloudy in Ballybofey almost all the time, but when the sun comes out it can be quite nice. It has many tourist attractions but F all for young people to do.
Person 1: I'm headin up to Ballybofey today.
Person 2: Why? There's nothing to do there.
Person 1: Forecast gives sun there for the first time in about 100 years and Donegal are playing Armagh. So it should be a good day out.
Person 2: Really? Might see ya there!

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
