Azure Pill

You chose to opt out of living your own life in order to watch someone else's life. You watch life go by rather than participate in your own life. The Azure Piller's personal life is rather boring; other people's lives are more interesting than their own. So, you would rather just be a watcher. Azure Pillers consist of people who are addicted to reality TV, playthroughs, speedruns, spend all their time browsing social media, etc. It also includes people who are hooked to the screens of their smartphones. This is in the same vein as the Red Pill, Blue Pill, Black Pill, etc.

The 1998 movie "The Truman Show," a comedy and sci-fi movie, is a great example of the Azure Pill. Everybody would rather watch or talk about the life of the main character, Truman Burbank, on TV than experience life for themselves.
Bill: Jack watches streamers play video games rather than play them himself.
William: He's definitely gotten himself Azure Pilled without even knowing it.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
