Someone who hangs around with you and your crowd in the full knowledge that they are unwelcome and disliked. In spite of frequent insults, rebuttal and sarcasm, they still persevere in their attempts to be liked, as they have nothing else to do and nobody to do it with.
That Steve, he just went and spent £60 on cocktails for everyone, even though we're drinking lager! I'm gonna throw mine into the plant pots; he's such an arse fish
