Favoring a friend/ally even if it is against your will, for the reason of being retaliated or just for the sake of just showing other people that you are a real friend/ally.

eg. 1.

During World War II, there were some Nazi Puppet Allies that supported them because they are afraid the Nazi regime will punish them.

eg. 2.

Some people remained Puppet Allies to their friend even if their friend is at fault.
