A typical Nigerian expression used to describe a 'loose mouthed' person (or a gossip). It can also indicate talk or rumours involving the private lives of other people.

Amebo is derived from the gossip character played by veteran actress Mrs Ibidun Allison in the classic Nigerian soap opera, The Village Headmaster.

I don't like that Tope is such an amebo. Please avoid her.

Literally means he or she that was born with a silver spoon. Adebola is a 'forever young' soul who lives life today like there's no tomorrow. They love enjoyable experiences and cringe at difficulty - in other words, 'won wa ye to le' i.e they cannot come and go and kill themselves. Life is always good to an Adebola and times when it isn't, they make the best out of terrible circumstances. They have a Saviour personality; they come into your space and make things brighter, fresher, newer and their personality radiates through dull and tough seasons.
