Abstimonious

A portmanteau of abstemious and sanctimonious. A holier than thou feeling that comes from the recently abstemious.

Dave: Bob was so abstimonious at St. Patrick’s Day after recently beginning his sobriety journey.

Ben: I know as if he didn’t shit himself last week.

Antimonious

adj. Complicating otherwise simple things in order to make life more of a struggle, and therefore more interesting. See also autoschadenfreude.

"I can't go to that party tonight; I'm feeling too lonely."
