75 North or a 75N is a term used to describe an event or situation that seems to be unreal, random, or bizarre. It's so bizarre, that you are lost for words and can only describe it as a 75 North.

I was driving down the freeway at 65mph in the middle of the night and got rear ended by another car. As I pulled over, I see the other car driving at a high rate of speed on the off ramp. Now that's a 75 North!

North Philly Stop

A driving term used to describe the act of slowing down before a stop sign without making a complete stop. Synonymous to a "rolling stop". In some areas of North Philadelphia, you wouldn't want to completely stop your car because there's a chance you'll get jacked or robbed if your car is stopped long enough. Thus, you slowly slide up to the stop sign and then continue on your way, lucky to still be in possession of your vehicle and your belongings.

Philly Driving Instructor: "Come to a complete stop here, son. No north philly stops!"
