"Norphine" is Indian/Nepalese Slang for the opioid painkiller drug Buprenorphine.

Commonly injected, or combined with benzodiazepines such as Diazepam (Valium) and Temazepam (Restoril) for a high similar to Heroin.

Fun Fact: - Used in higher doses (2mg+) in the US commonly combined with Naloxone (Narcan) in the compound medication used for Opiate Replacement Therapy 'Suboxone', coming most commonly in Subdermal Strip form to be dissolved under the tongue.

- Commonly known & abused in the US and Europe as 'Subutex', buprenorphine comes in tablet form instead of India's more-common liquid injectable form.
