Googin

Googin is a term to describe a fisherman who repeated does stupid things while fishing. Or a Fisherman who does not seem to be able to follow simple directions.

I made sure you did not pull a googin move and put a jig into someone, or sinker across someones noggin.

a true jig fisherman would not put clam on the hook targetting cod, Just don't get caught doing it on a Party Boat as you will make yourself look like a googin

Google Earth

Similar to NASA's WorldWind, Google Earth is a program that allows you to scroll around the world and zoom in to wherever you like. A number of areas have satellite photography available to a high level of detail (you can see individual cars and stuff).

Google Earth seems to be an improvement on WorldWind because there is really high resolution imagery to a lot of areas around the world, rather than just Washington DC.

Google Twitch

(noun) An irrational impulse to google or otherwise use the internet to search for something completely impossible to locate on the WWW.

(verb) To experience the desire to google something ungoogleable.

(noun) When I realized I had misplaced the keys to the safe I experienced such a strong google twitch that I actually sat down in front of my computer and typed "keys to safe" before I recognized my foolishness.

(noun) Jimmy lost track of his girlfriend, Yvonne, at the mall and while searching for her had a momentary google twitch as he walked past a computer store.

(verb) I was trying to remember where we were when we first kissed and I totally google twitched.
