They never settle down, so they have "dates" in multiple parts of the world that they visit a couple times, or maybe once, a year. They rotate through their favorite places in the world, seeing their seasonal lovers, and explore some new locations as a way of life.
Lindsay travels to a different country every few months, seeing different men in each country, so her dating lifestyle is described as seasonal dating.
