The Call of the Void is a thought that goes through your head as you're in a situation to where you or someone else could die very easily from your cause even though you know that you would never do it.

1- I could kill this man quite easlily, but why am I thinking this if I would never do it?...

2- I'm just at the edge of this building, I'm thinking of jumping off but I would never do it...

vocabulary workshop

One of the absolute gayest books assigned to complete in highschool. It has words you must learn and it asks questions about those words and it is a complete pain in the ass. There were sites where you could find answers to these but they quickly got shut down. All these books are are a pain in the ass.

Jeff- "Hey Jim, do you want to go catch a movie?" Jim-"No, sorry Jeff I have to go do vocabulary workshop for 2 hours maybe in a year or so"

A TV news term, an acronym that stands for "voiceover/sound on tape." This is a story in which the news anchor reads copy while video plays, and then a short soundbite plays while the anchor stops reading, and then the anchor reads the end of the story. Also spelled vo/sot or vo/b for "voiceover/bite."

"Channel 8 ran a vosot about the fire; the restaurant owner came on and said it started in the kitchen."

league of American voters

This "league of American voters" is a pro-business political organization trying to appear as a "non-partisan" government watchdog. They claim to be in favor of "the people" and opposed to congressional malfescence. They support people that work towards their agenda. Their web site sounds all rosey but it's rather vague.

The true character is obviously similar to the tea party, their first big campaign is to preserve Bush's tax cuts for the rich!

Fred Thompson is using his name to fight to "save the Bush tax cuts." How can anyone take ol' Fred or the League of American Voters seriously when they want to continue one of Bush43's most fuckwitted ideas?!
