Walden University

One of the oldest diploma mills. Walden University = the degree is not worth the paper it is written on. Walden University = you won't get a job as a result of your education.
My half sister got all her degrees from online universities that were diploma mills. First, American Public/American Military University for her first two degrees then Walden University for her Ph.D. They accepted her credits from her community college days and gave her credit for "life experience." So, she really only completed one year of education at APU/AMU for her Bachelors, then she completed barely a year for her masters. Then, her sister (my other half sister) went to AMU/APU shortly after and submitted the same work the other sister submitted. One of the two pursued her Ph.D. at Walden and thinks it was legitimate. Later, she was laughed out of job interviews and figured out her program was not accredited and she wasted her time and money in the program, since no one will hire her. Also, no one will accept her credits from Walden University.

She claimed she was trying to be the first one in the family to get an education. I guess the type of education didn't matter. I graduated from traditional colleges and universities and went on to get my law degree (a juris doctorate) and a post-doctoral degree (all from traditional schools where people knew me), and I got a very nice, fun, and high paying job. I guess she didn't get the memo.

Bentley University

A top New England business school where both the academic curriculum and social atmosphere are geared entirely towards the accumulation of power and wealth. This has resulted in the apparently necessary addition of "Ethics and Social Responsibility" as an academic discipline. Graduates range from Wall Street moguls like Richard Zannino to ruthless dictators such as Charles Taylor.

While other college students paint houses or lifeguard during the summer months, Bentley students are up bright and early, parking their BMW's outside of JP Morgan or State Street.

If you don't get in, there's always Bryant, notable alumni of which include:

-Adam M. Hamilton - "ChiP" - Reporter for WJAR-NBC 10 News

and

-Dennis G. Perron - Chief of Police Hubbardston, Massachusetts
Bentley University Student 1: Hey, how's 301 treating you?

Bentley University Student 2: Meh, we got a crap project, some place called "bryant university" wants us to consult for them.... looks like a lost cause though.

University of Denver

A school started in 1860's...has an incredible business school and has tons of hot guys and girls.. Denver is the shit and is becoming one of the best schools in the country...

Walden University

The only school dumb enough to advertise on a page that their ex-students call them a diploma mill, a marketing company masquerading as a school, worse than a community college and the bottom of the barrel of accredited colleges.

Seriously, I don't have anything against Walden University. I would never go there, don't know anyone who would and would never even consider it. But if you have no other choice, I guess that it's slightly better than not going to college. Just expect to be laughed at by most perspective future employers. I only found this page because it comes up in the top 5 google searches when you search college rankings or best colleges or something. Weird eh?
Look to the right, above or underneath this post - Walden University is actually advertising on this page! Now that is sad.

Charleston Southern Universtiy

in North Charleston South Carolina. Built on an old rice plantation. When it rains students are known for taking submarines, jet skis, boats, and canoes just to get to class. Largest racial profile are geese and ducks.
1: why do you own a submarine and how did you get attacked by geese?

2: I go to school at Charleston Southern Universtiy.

university of scranton

Gorgeous ladies and gentlemen that are extremely intelligent attend this University. They love to party and have fun.

PRIDE, PASSION, PROMISE.
I went to The University of Scranton and it was an amazing college experience!

I love going to The University of Scranton because I can go snowboarding five minutes from campus at SNO Mountain!

University of California, Redemption

UCR, or University of California, Riverside. In the 21st Century, UCR is less the school for UC Rejects, and more the campus of choice for many highly qualified applicants who may have gotten rejected by other, more selective UCs, but would have otherwise SMOKED college applications in other State Universities across the country.
I didn't get into the UCs of my choice this time, but despite busting my ass in high school, I'm thankful that I got into the University of California, Redemption!
