broadcast mode

when you raise your voice to monopolize a conversation and talk over the other person/people you are with...like a television or radio announcer who broadcasts information because they know their audience can't respond, someone in broadcast mode just talks "at" you or over you, with no regard for your thoughts or response.

We were at a networking event and one of the attendees was in broadcast mode all night. She was so rude never let anyone get in a word edgewise.

kill mode

A tune setting on high performance cars (usually drag cars/ street cars) that uses the engine's full power capability. I.E., the fastest tune in the car, used to "kill" other cars on the street.

"This car makes about 1,400whp on its street tune, and 1,800 on full kill mode."

stealth mode

To change from using your work email (which is probably being monitored) to an internet based email account so that you can continue emailing without being detected.

'Lads, my work email keeps blocking that romance picture you keep trying to send me, I've had enough, I'm switching to stealth mode to continue the banterage'.
