Knowing someone is coming over whom you want to impress, but there isn't enough time to clean; so you shove everything in a closet, under your bed, or in a hamper to achieve the perception your place is spotless.
My girl and her Mom randomly said they were stopping by for brunch, so I opened the closet doors in support of my fake clean attempt.

The adjective used to describe someone who acts like they are under the influence, when it is obvious they are not.
Danny: Dude did you see see Diana last night? Was she shit-faced or what??
Evan: No bro, she was definitely fake-faced.
Danny: Oh.

When a movie/book/TV show has a moment in which it appears that something dramatic will occur, but then the director(s)/screenwriter(s)/author(s) wimp out and pull a solution to the problem out of their asses.
Example:
Guy 1: Remember in the last book of Harry Potter when Harry dies but then somehow comes back to life?
Guy2: Yeah, that was complete fake drama.

Father: So today your mother accused me of "fake chowing." What the hell is that?
Son: Really dad? You pretended to go down on her? Isn't this something you should be telling Uncle Howard anyway?
