DOT is a derogatory word which means Descendant of Thieves and it refers to the descendants of white people who went to Australia, Africa and Asia to steal lands and their people.

When you use a period at the end of a message, typically a text message. Specifically, it is when you put it at end of the entire message. You can use them in between to separate parts of the message, such as for sentences. But if you put it at the end, it means you're angry or want to be a dick to the other person. Or you're just old.
