In sales, a floor-whore is a salesperson who only works the floor or sales lot. Doesn't ask for referrals or make prospecting calls.

A salesperson on a car lot or real estate office that only takes incoming calls or walk-ins but never makes an effort to create their own business, is whoring the floor, thus a floor whore.
