1. Acronym for Church Of the More Or Less Obvious Metaphor. Loose-knit, cheerful, awe-filled group recognized by a high level of tolerance and a low level of certainty. Half a religion.

2. COMOLOM is also the book that lays out the teachings and the guesses.
