carbon fever

a lot like cabin fever, except that it is in a car. it is that point on a long road trip where you are about 8 red bulls down and have been driving for about 5 hours straight. symptoms include: eating cold chicken nuggets from 7 hours ago, you start singing the most ridiculous songs as loud as you can, you start talking to yourself, having conversations with siri on your iphone, and other random things.

random guy passing you: "man that guy is really going at it on them air drums."

his wife: " he must have carbon fever."

scarlet fever blanket

a wooly, scratchy, undesirable blanket. in a traditional sense: a red wool camp blanket with a couple of large gray or black stripes on it. similar to a camp blanket that white settlers would trade to native americans, and unintentionally pass along scarlet fever.

I have a scarlet fever blanket in the back of my Jeep...so we could load the firewood into my car if you want.
