Get the Thanksgiving mug.A day lot of people pretend to be grateful. Lots of people say they're grateful on Thanksgiving, or during a pandemic, while a few know how ungrateful they really are. A few know they're as much part of the problem as the Mexicans working long hours at the plant at minimum wage risking exposure to viruses from both animals and other people to get their bird to them.
A lot of people thank a healthcare worker during a pandemic, just like a lot of people would thank the Mexican dude that just dropped dead from working at the plant to get a turkey to a family on time for Thanksgiving dinner if they ever met the guy. The reality is people don't really care all that much about the efforts of other people. What's the point in pretending to? Let people know you're an ungrateful asshole like me, it's who you really are, ugly inside when nobody is looking.
