Comet Hale-Bopp

a spectacular comet that graced our skies in 1996 - 1997. It lead to lots of stupid New Age speculation due to the "prophecy" and angel-encounter end-of-the-millenium bullshit that was going on in near the end of the 20th century. There were cult suicides, and superstitious predictions that did not come true. It was very prominent in the sky in early to mid 1997. Dubbed the "Comet of the Century", Hale-Bopp was a thrill to see and a once in a lifetime event, although you can't tell when the next comet "biggie" may come our way.

Comet Hale-Bopp was discovered by the American astronomers Alan Hale and Thomas Bopp.

Hale

A small one light town where more than half of the town is on welfare and smoking weed, while everyone else is working hard to pay for their welfare. every weekend there are parties in numerous locations (just look at facebook it works for the cops) where you will find the same group of people that graduated/dropped out from high school years ago. If you do no drink a lot in the town of Hale than you are probably just an old person calling the cops on someone who is.

Person 1: "want to go to a party tonight?"
Person2: "yeah! but where?"
Person 1: "Hale, i hear they are a bunch of alcoholics"

Hadley, MA

A Small Town in Western MA thats about 90 miles West of Boston. Next to Amherst, Ma and Northampton, MA. Known for cowfield, and rednecks. Teenagers of the town party in the woods. Very hickish.
