Used to describe a situation that, regardless of how much time or effort is put into it, is very unlikely to be completed or produce a favorable result.

Originated from the idea that the 7 days of the week continue to loop endlessly after Sunday.

You can ask Jenny out seven ways 'till Sunday, Bob, but I doubt she'll ever say yes.

A Carry On drinking event from the party Saturday night. Usually entailing having a large group of people drinking at brunch, carrying mini bottles of liquor for "pocket shots", eating organic gas station eggs, drinking in basement level bars, and occasionally breaking out into festive song and dance, such as "Hava Nagila".
