Origin:
The word "Chinaman" first appeared in mid-19th Century, commonly used by Central Pacific Railroad workers as a neutral or non-racist term to identify Chinese descent workers.
Due to their strong ethical culture, Chinese workers were extremely well-behaved, skilled and highly efficient, it was not long until a gradual massive layoffs of European and black workers from 1859 to 1868. Also during this time, Chinese railroad workers' wages has also risen higher than other workers' ($35-40 compared to $30-35 per month). By the end of 1868, Chinese workers became the majority of the CPRR workforce.
Anger and hatred were widely spread among those workers who lost job to the Chinese immigrants, the term "Chinaman" has become a racist term over time. And this is the early origin of the term "Chinaman".

Get the Chinaman mug.A podonk little town on the outskirts of nowhere loacted in northeast Fl (not the panhandle) that collectively owns 10 teeth and an 8th grade reading level. Everyone lives in a trailer and all the men are either chauvanistic wife beaters or hide their gay lifestyles so as not to be publically hanged. The one "shopping district" in the entire town consists of a Walmart plaza and a run down pizza shop. This is the ultimate breeding ground for rednecks and cockroaches. Don't blink-- you might drive by and not notice it.

Get the Chiefland mug.The chinaman's dilemma is wether or not it would be wise to capture and consume all of the shrimp in the world if one was able to. The dilemma is between the choice of instant and immense gratification (eating all the shrimp) or factoring in the long run and sustaining the shrimp population, resulting in eating less shrimp but for a longer time.
I have this whole pizza all to myself and I can eat it all tonight or save some for tomorrow. This is a real chinamans dilemma.
