Boomer blinders

A metaphor for the rose-tinted glasses effect that boomers seem to have on their world views and ideals, that ends up spreading to other people who share their social circles. Can infect millenials, Gen-X's, Gen-Z's and even some Gen-C's.
Dad always kept going on and on about how great America is, and how we have freedom and we should be proud, despite the fact that guns don't keep us safe, in fact more people are killed by guns in America than anywhere else in the world. Pop really needs to take off his boomer blinders and look at the world from reality.

Blinders

A bunch of people who follow a specific party. Instead of following someone who will get rid of debt and not get rid of 60,000 jobs under 24 hours like Biden. Also people who get offended of what someone says even though they dont fall under that category and that category doesn't care what someone said.
You are such a blinders.

Porky Blinder

Perjorative. A failed attempt to channel vintage gangster look as popularised by UK TV series Peaky Blinders by corpulent man or lard arse.

Basically a flesh ball in a vintage waist coat, brouges and a flat cap.
