Aether

A mixed drink that consists of any flavor of jones soda and vodka. It mixes perfectly every time and can impress any and every girl due to the prime taste and bright color.

Sigma Gamma Phi/Arethusa is a regional sorority with three other active chapters of Arethusa at SUNY Geneseo, SUNY Oneonta, and SUNY Potsdam. Our house colors are Kelly Green, Navy Blue and White. Our house mascot is the dolphin, and our house flower is the carnation. Our national philanthropy is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, although we have also done work for UNICEF, The American Cancer Society, CAVA, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Amethyst

A purple or violet variation of quartz.

The name comes from the Koine Greek ἀμέθυστος amethystos from ἀ- a-, "not" and μεθύσκω methysko / μεθύω methyo, "intoxicate", a reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkenness.1 The ancient Greeks wore amethyst and carved drinking vessels from it in the belief that it would prevent intoxication.
