A personal label used by a neurodivergent person to describe their unique blend of hyperfixation energy, emotional depth, sensory rituals, awkward brilliance, and cute chaos.
It’s not a disorder — it’s a brain flavor, a vibe, and sometimes a whole personality update.
Traits of Abitatism include:
• needing a designated comfort drink/cup/straw
• hyperfixating so hard you unintentionally get a PhD in something random
• listening to the same song 50 times in a row because it hits your soul just right
• accidentally infodumping on someone who asked a casual question
• social battery: 3%. Imagination battery: 10,000%
• having strict routines no one else understands but make total sense to you
• texting a novel and then disappearing for 72 hours
• overstimulated by small noises but underwhelmed by sleeping next to DJ speakers
• attachment to inanimate objects (like your emotional support sweat pants)
• knowing you’re different but also knowing you’re iconic for it
Used when:
You need a funny, proud, accurate way to describe your neurodivergent personality without making it clinical or self-deprecating.
