Eventually grew and expanded to become the best damn grocery store that exists, beating out Tops and other major competitors. Listed under Top Places to work in the US by Fortune Magazine. Almost every teenager in the WHOLE NY area has worked at Wegmans at some point in their life and every time you shop there it's like a high school reunion.Wegmans: where everybody knows your name.

I worked at Wegmans today and saw my entire homeroom there.

The Wegman's Sushi of

When something is almost as good as the real thing, but is definitely, noticeably NOT the real thing. Something that's definitely not bad, but only good enough to get that fix when you don't have time and/or money for the authentic version. Not to be confused with "Gas station sushi" which is a joke in and of itself.
