A collection of 42 books by The Reverend Wilbert Awdry and his son Christopher Awdry between 1945 to 2011. It was responsible for introducing the world to Thomas the Tank Engine who would later get his own TV series in 1984 with currently 24 seasons as of 2020 with an upcoming 25th season coming out on October 2021.
