When people are almost similar, but not exactly the same. The same kind of tree, but the branches are different, some have more leaves than others.

A term used to describe when someone is further ahead than another in a given situation, while still implying the other person will reach that point in the situation eventually.

1: "I love you."
2: "We're on the same book, but different chapters."
