Speeding Buddy

When two individuals (more than likely strangers) speed next to each other because each individual thinks the other will get pulled over.

Example 1. "Man I was speeding Buddies with a Porsche today.. a cop would've totally busted him first."

Example 2. "So this idiot in a sketchy-ass van was tryin' to be my speeding buddy.. There's no way I'm getting busted before him."

It's like jaywalking, an offense that virtually everyone commits. There difference between the two is that speed laws are actually enforced (though quite selectively), usually to meet quotas.
