When you ask for help with your malfunctioning software, it will mysteriously start working only when the person you asked gets within 5 feet of the computer.

I tried printing this godamn pdf for over an hour. But only after IT came into my cube did it start working. Of course IT thought it was an I.D.10.T error, but it was proximity effect making me look gaytarded.

Proximity Theory

Spending lots of time with an average or less than average looking girl and noticing that she is becoming hotter and hotter as time passes. This is presumably due to the fact that you feel that you should have slept with her based on the amount of time you have committed to the relationship.
