G.R.O.S.S.

G.R.O.S.S. is an anti-girl club, as popularized by Calvin & Hobbes. The name is an acronym that stands for Get Rid Of Slimy GirlS

Based in a treehouse (with occasional emergency meetings inside a cardboard box), the main objective of G.R.O.S.S. club is to annoy, bother, and harass girls. Calvin and Hobbes are its only members, and they sometimes plan missions to do so.

Look for local chapters of G.R.O.S.S. now forming in a neighbourhood near you.

o Calvin: "I've got it! We'll call our club G.R.O.S.S. - Get Rid Of Slimy Girls! That way, Susie Derkins can't join!"

o Hobbes: "Is she slimy?"

o Calvin: "All girls are slimy. Now the first order of business is to elect officiers."

o Hobbes: "I get to be president! I get to be president!"

o Calvin: "Oh, no you don't! This whole club was my idea, so I get to be president."

o Hobbes: "Ok, then I get to be king and tyrant."

o Calvin: "Hey, no! That's what I want to be! You can be president!"

Underground Alternative hip-hop artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He's on Doomtree and Rhymesayers. He was originally a punk rock artist, and didn't like rap, however he realized it's an alternative form of expression.

P.O.S can stand for many things, such as Piece of Shit, Product of Society, Pissed off Stef, Promise of Skill, and Promise of Stress. He says it stands for whatever fits the song.

As of June 2010, he has three albums: Ipecac Neat, Audition, and Never Better

Mercedes: "Who's the amazing man rapping this song, who's the amazing bassist, and who's the fucking awesome drummer?"

This is teenage Instant Messaging slang meaning "Parent Over Shoulder". It tells the other user the their mother/father is standing over them, and to not say anything that might get them into trouble.

A rapper and multi-instrumentalist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is one of 9 members of Doomtree, a group of MC's and DJ's from the twin cities. He's also a part of the Rhymesayers record label, which is also home to others such as Atmosphere, MF Doom, and Brother Ali. P.O.S is very talented, although not very well-known. He has three albums at the time of writing, Ipecac Neat, Audition, and Never Better. His real name is Stefon Alexander. P.O.S doesn't definitively stand for anything, but it's been know to mean Pissed Off Stef, Product of Society, Promise of Skill, Promise of Stress, and even Piece of Shit (a joke).
