less than awesome

A rating given to something that seemingly has potential to be awesome, but that would not be totally awesome in reality. Intensity of rating ranges from awesome minus one to awesome minus one over infinity.

Imagine if life were like a classic sitcom and everyone had their catchphrases and whenever they said it the camera would pause and zoom in and they'd do a goofy look while the sound *whan whan waaaa* played in the background.

That sounds like an idea that has been at least briefly thought out. i appreciate your contribution, perhaps it even made me laugh. However, it is less than awesome.

less than a gogo

Meaning absolutely awful and most often used when referring to food or somewhere that serves it. Originates from the poor quality of Pizza Gogo takeaways, especially the one near Alleyn's School in London. Pizza Gogo's motto is 'Don't Go For Less Than a Gogo' which some may find comical because the quality of the food and service at Gogo is so poor that anything less would be laughably awful.

John: "Is that kebab shop up the road any good?"

Jim: "Oh no man it's less than a gogo."

"Less for you" is a close cousin to "more for me". However, as opposed to showing a sign of happiness at another's refusal, it instead exhibits a sign of
content at another's discontent, therefore leaning more towards schadenfreude.
