The phrase ‘fretty’s mum’ derives from the Latin word ‘fretilo mater’ - it’s commonly used during a game of knock-a-door run. It is used in a sentence in two ways, one, for example would look like this “who’s house we knocking on, what about ... fretty’s mum”. Another, looking like “that is frettys mum vibes that” when experiencing a bad dinner.

Me and the boys went to a nightclub the other night and it turned out to be a fretty’s mum vibe.

fuckin' off fetti

Fuckin' off fetti (or fetty) is pretty much throwing away money. E40 has a verse in a Big Sean track where he says, 'You liable to find me up in the MGM casino in the D / Fuckin' off fetti I coulda put on property'. In this verse he equates gambling at the MGM in Detroit to wasting or throwing aweay money, or spending it as though he doesn't care what happens to it.

Fuckin' off fetti/y could draw its roots from the term 'fuck you money' which most commonly means the kind of money where you can tell everyone to fuck off and still be totally cool. In other words, you have so much cash you don't need nothin from no one.

I was out last night and some dudes at another table were fuckin' off fetti buying ace all night.

Over Fratting

(verb) a.k.a Trying too hard. Key symptoms include buying and wearing everything Brooks Brothers, Polo, Hilfiger, and Vineyard Vines.

(Dead giveaway) Buying as much of the brands named above without ever owning any of them just because those brands are commonly associated with fraternity life.

The main reason why one would partake in Over Fratting would be to impress their fellow frat brothers and to make themselves seem more "frat" than they actually are.

When everything you're wearing is Vineyard Vines and/or loudly colored you're simply just Over Fratting. NF
