When you wake up & can use social media but not quite ready to get out of bed .

Ooh , heavy one last night . Didn't get up until noon but was facebook awake from about 8:00

A line from Homestuck followed by "Your shit is wrecked". In the fandom, it is sometimes used as a joke for when someone is in danger, or when something has gone catastrophically wrong.

Gina: "Aw, shit, they took B!"

Let awake dogs tell the truth

Good advice, but how could the sleeping ones even say anything, untruthful or otherwise?

Saying, "Let awake dogs tell the truth" makes no more sense than verbally allowing them to fib while snoozing: dogs can't talk in any case, as we all know, and so they could not tell "lies" in any alertness-state --- i.e., whether they are asleep or up and around.
