an entertaining fiction novel by James Dashner about a boy named Thomas who mysteriously finds himself in a place called "the glade" with several other boys who are as clueless as he is. the glade is bordered by enormous walls that split in two on each side to a massive maze. thomas feels something strange about the place, as if he'd been there before...this book is the first of the maze runner series and is recommended (by me). the movie version is to be released in september of 2014.

A camera set up at a stop light usually in a large urban city that monitors the running of red lights and then sends the violator a ticket via mail.
I ran a red light at 4 in the morning not thinking I would get caught because I didn't see anyone around, turns out they had a red runner setup!

Plays HNS for 2 months straight. Often is heard yelling "DEFAULT!" at people because they feel they won even though it could be as simple as ordering a pizza over the phone.

A ridge runner or more commonly referred to as a moonshiner, was typically a man from the South during the prohibition era (1928-1940) who transported illegal whiskey (moonshine) made in various still sites (outdoor breweries) to local and long distance customers. They were often persued by local police and sheriff's departments in addition to Federal agents, known as "Revenuers" who enforced prohibition laws. Ridge runners were skilled lead foot drivers who knew the roads like the back of their hands. They drove across wide open fields, pastures, and wooded terrain to shake the law, run their shine, and turn a nice profit. Watch a few episodes of the old Dukes of Hazzard and you can't miss the term. Thanks for reading. :-)
That ridge runner is supposed to be here any minute with a whole trunkload of fine sippin shine. Get the money ready...and bring the shotgun if he needs any help.
