eating my head

A figure of speech used to describe when a situation or an event or a person is hypothetically completely consuming you, such as an especially disturbing and chaotic Presidential administration, including the whole grisly post-Presidential aftermath.

It all began in the early stages of the Shyster in Chief’s presidential stint when I began to compulsively submit my words and phrases to Urban Dictionary, that I felt that the simple publication of my sometimes immature and rage-filled humor-rants was a momentary unguent to the preoccupying and sometimes nearly intolerable distress that was eating my head.

meta-eating

The act of eating a more readily accessible type of food while concurrently pursuing a more difficultly procured food product. This is done in order to save time and/or avoid boredom.

The dining hall was serving salad, paninis, and pizza, the latter two of which had significant waiting lines. Johnson wanted a salad and panini for lunch, so he grabbed a salad and ate it as he stood in line for his sandwich.

"Dude, you're totally meta-eating right now," his friend said.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Johnson replied.
