A at-the-start-fun-but-overtime-becomes-boring mobile game that has spread worldwide in the form of an annoying ad that games or websites LOVE to have. It features a old ass man in a tuxedo whose hat is even taller than him and sometimes a black dog that has eyebrows bushier than all the hair in my body.

Ad Skips

Defined as the way you can skip an ad. Example: In most mobile game ads there are small X buttons on the top right corner, this is how you skip the ad. Example 2: On youtube, ads will appear. Some ads are skippable but some aren't. Skippable ads can be skipped by waiting about 3-5 seconds then clicking the "Skip ad" button near the bottom right corner.

Person 1: "Hey check out this cool game I found
Person 2: "Its a cool game but there are way too many ads!"
Person 1: "Its a good thing that you can use the Ad Skips"
Person 2: "its still fucking annoying"

Ad Populum

When people claim something is automatically right because a large number of people are saying it. You can have a scenario with a hundred idiots and all their mates vs 1 clever person on their own. The karma system on reddit is probably the most egregious implementation of this idea tbh since people blindly assume upvotes = 100% correct in all scenarios

Person A: that game has bad reviews so it must suck. All my mates said it suck so it must be true

Person B: have you played it yourself? Sounds like Ad Populum to me
Person A: huh?
