A play on “guns don’t kill people, people kill people”, but in response to the growing number of school shootings being blamed on first- and third-person shooters.

Coined by the Act Man, “guns don’t kill people, lag does”, shows the irony of the situation we’re in, Luddites meeting up and talking about Grand Theft Auto.

Horror Lag Spike

The random quick spike of lag one witnesses at a random point in a horror related game.

Which often indicates the game loading in something that will kill or chase the player.

You never want to see a Horror Lag Spike in games.

Alternating lag

Rare but really annoying form of lag, it gives you anywhere from 0.5 to 1.5 seconds of freeze, and then flips to 0.5 to 1.5 seconds of decent FPS.

So, I have half a second to run away from these blazes, before it freezes me for 1.5 seconds, to so I DON'T experience to full fun of running away from blazes... FUCK YOU TO HELL, Alternating lag!
