The politically correct form of bastard in its original sense of an illegitimate offspring. The two words are often joined together for the phrase "bastard love child", a common setup of humorous analogies.

1. Gary and Sue had a love child, but they still haven't gotten married or even moved in together.

2. Dr. Pepper is the Bastard Love Child of Coke and Root Beer, and I will die by those words.
