small gray alien

"Small Gray" is the common name given to the most common of the beings that are thought of as an "alien," or extraterrestrial (not from earth). When someone draws a picture of an alien, it is often a small gray.

The words "small gray" are descriptive of how the beings look. Small grays are gray in color, believed to be about 3 feet tall, and although their heights vary, none are as large as human beings. They look similar to human beings: head, trunk, two arms and two legs, hands with fingers (the number of fingers I don't know).

The head is hairless, the face is a roundish egg shape (point down). Eyes are large and oversized for the face, almond shaped, all black, not having a white or pupil or eyelid. The mouth is small, no lips, teeth are usually not drawn. Their body is almost child like: small, thin, hairless, with no distinct muscle development (the opposite of a weight lifter), or evidence of gender. Small Gray's are usually drawn as having no clothing or body covering.

Just like humans look alike but look different, there are aliens that differ slightly from small grays. Some are different in color, pale gray or dark gray or brown, and they have been named by people who can tell them apart. I am not familiar with those names or what the differences are, they all look the same to me :).

Small Grays are the aliens often described by people who say that they have been abducted by aliens.

I am not an expert on this subject. I was looking for some of the other names for small grays, and this dictionary had none at all, so I thought I'd leave something for the next person.

In the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," the aliens that are seen at the end are small grays.

Alice in Wonderland Syndrome

This is when you find yourself in a situation where you are the only person in the room who makes any sense. When it bothers you to be the only sane person at the "mad tea party" you are suffering from Alice in Wonderland Syndrome.

I attended a business meeting where management and my teammates decided to blatantly lie and mislead our customers. I was the only one who had a problem with this. When I spoke up, I was told to stop making trouble and to start being a team player. I fell into Alice in Wonderland Syndrome.

Alice

Alice is a hilarious friend with an awesome personality. She is pretty, sporty and good a pretty much everything. Once you meet an Alice you will wonder what you did without her.

Alice the Goon

1.) A profoundly unattractive female member of a fictional aboriginal people called "the Goons," featured in the old "Popeye" cartoons. Alice had a squiggle for a mouth and a flowerpot for a hat, and wore a grass skirt, of sorts. She fancied Popeye as a love-interest, but Popeye wanted nothing to do with Alice, understandably. However, she was much larger and stronger than Popeye (when he was sans spinach, anyway), and she would pick him up and croon, in a robotic monotone, "I love Popeye. I love Popeye," while he struggled to get away.

2.) A term used to describe an unattractive female.

I swear, that lady who runs the hot dog stand is the original Alice the Goon.

Alice Syndrome

A Syndrome where all the males of a group believe that a female (in said group), is far more desirable than she really is. The defining characteristic of this syndrome is that all the rest of the females (either being crazy or unattractive), make this particular female appear desirable. Alice Syndome specifically occurs in small groups where there is no outside competition from females. Alice syndrome is quite common and effects all clicks equally.

Friend 1: Don't you think Vanessa is hot?!
Friend 2: Hell yeah! She is so freaking hot! What do you think?
Friend 3: I think Vanessa is hotter than Katie, but Vanessa isn't that hot. You guys must have Alice Syndrome or something...

One who fails to conform to earth's normal customs and courtesies. There every action and comment would lead a resonable person to believe they are from another planet.
