text mauling

When someone texts you barbs, cryptic remarks or questions so as to relentlessly wear you down to their point of view, or to twist your response to conform to their position or desired outcome; especially if there are many of them, received intermittently, over a period of time: a day or two.

It feels like you are being punched or jabbed, sometimes by surprise-- here they are again: bam!--when you thought it was done, over they're back with another comment.

I've been clear on my position, please stop text mauling me; I am not going to agree with you.

Text Deaf

The lack of hearing emphasis on a word because it is only text. Capital letters do not mean anything besides shouting!

Girl 1: That rainbow is HUGE.

Guy: Thats what she said.

Girl 2: Didn't you hear the sarcasm in her statement?

Guy: No I'm text deaf.

Text Com

Com being short for communication. text com is when 2 people stood or sat down next to each communicating via text message. This is either done when in a place where you can't hear what person is saying or where theres a group of more than three people and 2 people and want to keep the things they are saying a secret.

Bill: Sally and John keep on texting. I wonder who they are texting.

The urge or compulsion to text, tweet, or comment. Analogous to sex drive, varying enormously from one person to another, and depending on circumstances at a particular time.

She asked me to follow her back on Twitter, but I explained it would be unsatisfying because we had different text drives; I was more of a few times a week type and she was more of a several times a day type.
