When Bertha was talking to Troy about the process of his new home being built, She brought up information about the builders political affiliations. It has nothing to do with the price of tea in China which is spaghetti talk at it’s finest.

Talk to Elvis

A way of excusing ones self to go to the bathroom. Derived from the location where Elvis took his final breath and also a scene in "True Romance", starring Christian Slater, where he talks to Elvis' ghost in the bathroom. Commonly used by people who can appreciate Elvis as a singer and find humor in his lifestyle. So far, hipsters haven't caught on to the phrase, which is a good thing.

cop talk

Cop Talk: An exaggeratedly wordy jargon, frequently spoken in a mono-tone passive voice. Descriptive yet extremely vague, this is used when describing a situation in order to increase the appearance of intelligence or credibility, while cloaking truth in a mountain of syllables.
The police officer is using cop talk to convince the jury that his use of force was justified.
