It may also be criticized because of it being similar to Minecraft and LEGO. Now, with the LEGO I can see where it is going, but this game was released in 2006, and it was private in 2004, going by the name of "Dynablox", and even the public version was released more than 2 years before Minecraft was.
So this game has gone through a recent update where tix was removed. Every day, you'd get 10 tix, and you could either by things with this, or convert it into robux to buy things that cannot be bought with tix. ROBLOX removed the tix along with the conversion feature because of bankruptcy. Many people believe this was because ROBLOX was greedy and wanted more money, so they basically forced you to buy robux if you really wanted to look good. Truth to be told, a lot of people look like complete shit.
Also, another thing, a member of the team, named Erik Cassel, sadly passed away. This made many players believe this led to Guests being endangered. While some people are still playing as guests, (trust me, it is not hacks, it has happened to me) you can not play as a guest manually. You would never know if anyone was talking to you, and you wouldnt be able to talk if someone was being an absolute fucking annoyance to you. Not even giving signals would work, because those assholes would think you're just playing around.

These outfits include: paper hats, christmas lights, bear mask, bunny tail, a very uncool shirt, "Im a spy" hats, ice arms and legs, a bad name, and a lot more. Honestly, these should be deleted from the market.
The girl version is probably worse. They may have the same outfit type, except they choose a small torso, and small arms, but legs that have kind of a round part on the back, for this "big ass" effect. I don't know about you, but I find this highly unattractive.
Then there is the badass.
There is also that kid who calls everybody either "noob", "hacker", or "stupid" when someone does wins over him in a lethal weapons fight.
And then there is the trash talker. They literally insult you FOR NO REASON AT ALL. You all have heard of this kid, right? Yeah. I don't bother to explain.
So yeah. That is the definition of Roblox. I would have a lot more to say, but this only has a limit of 1500 characters.
And the short definition is: A STUPID FUCKING GAME FULL OF SHITTY PEOPLE!

While the game has great potential, it has one of the worst communities EVER. There's hackers, ODers, and people with rude language. Most people in ROBLOX are quite young, and usually have bad grammar and pretend to be older. The term "noob" is used a lot in ROBLOX, but the meaning of the word depends on the maturity of the player. A mature player, such as a programmer/developer, will use its proper meaning, signaling new players, but most people call ANYONE they get mad at a noob, even if they've been playing for a long time. The games are fun, alright, but sometimes the community just ruins it. There's lots of trolls. Also, the game is said to be free, but that's not really true. While creating an account and playing/creating games is free, there's a lot of crucial extra features that require you to pay money. You need to pay real money to customize your character, and to use features such as VIP servers, creating groups, creating badges, and more things. Also, most popular games have game passes, which cost virtual currency, and usually give an advantage to the player. ROBLOX's gameplay is very good, but the community ruins it, and it isn't as fun without paying real money, as you cannot experience a lot of features without doing so. It is often compared to Minecraft , which seems to own it when a comparison is done.
